Chemotherapy and radiotherapy are ruthless attacks to the body. A number of food sources, supplements and lifestyle can improve quality of live, improve your immune system.
A great number of food sources are scientifically investigated and are causing cell death of cancer cells, work in synergy with drugs, making them more effective and can reduce build up resistance of cancer cells against cytostatic drugs, target drugs and radiotherapy.
More and more it's getting clear that FOOD and LIFESTYLE are the major causes of cancer. So stay away from bad food sources and bad habits listed in the DON'T DO list. Realize that many cytostatic drugs and radiotherapy are cancerous themselves. Reason to drastically change bad habits and carefully study what's best to eat and to do. It doesn't mean that you have chew carrots the whole day. I  DO   FOOD



 FLAXSEED, FLAXSEED OIL , OMEGA 3 

Flaxseed of the Flaxplant contains Omega 3,6,7,9 oils and very high levels of Lignans. The Lignans are located in the hard peel and not in the oil. The Lignans show a strong anti-cancer function, particularly for breast and prostate cancer.
The peel however contains small amounts of Hydrogen Cyanide precursors (Linustatin). If used regularly, this peel can make you sick. By cooking the seed, the Hydrogen Cyanide precursors will disappear, however also the useful substances.
 Consuming more than 20 gram per day, it's also better to take extra minerals, Zinc, Calcium, Selenium and (Iron, only when red bloodcell counts are low) to compensate the loss caused by Phytic acid that are common in whole grains. Vitamin B6 to compensate for the loss caused by Linatine in flaxseed
Golden flaxseed (Linola) has the lowest values of Linostatin and and by far the highest values of Lignans compared to the brown colored flaxseed and can be used without cooking.
Omega 3 levels in Linola seeds are very low (only 2%). So for Omega 3 you need to use the flaxseed oil from brown flaxseed that contains around 60% Omega 3.
The whole seed is very resistant and will not be digested. So it needs to be ground in a coffee grinder or you can make a shake in a blender. Linola costs around $7,- per kilo, 10-25 gram per day. Ground Flaxseed is only 2-3 hours fresh and will oxidize quickly. Organic Flaxseed oil can be bought in many organic stores. Flaxseed-oil does oxidize slowly and needs to be stored in the fridge.

Function Lignans:
The Linola flaxseed peel contains by far the highest concentration Lignans. 2-3X that of brown flaxseed and 200-300X more then the next in line, Oat. Lignans are converted by bacteria in the stomach into 2 Phyto Estrogens:  Enterodiol en Enterolactone. Function of Omega 3, (ALA or Alfa Linolenic Acid) in Flaxseed:
Flaxseed oil of a common bread of brown flaxseed contains the following substances: 
  • Alpha Linolenic acid >60%         Omega 3          ALA
  • Linoleic acid 10-16%                   Omega 6          GLA,  LA 
  •  Palmitic acid  5%                        Omega 7
  • Oil acid 10-20%                            Omega 9          OA
  •  Stearic acid <10% *

Omega 6 however is an essential acid oil. How can Omega 6 be cancerous?
Following can explain how Omega 3 has an important role in the metabolism of
Omega 6 to the "good" Prostaglandins series 1 (PGE1) or the "bad" Prostaglandins series 2 (PGE2) 
Also the metabolism of Omega 3 to the "good" Prostaglandins series 3 (PGE3). Good and bad is not in place because in balance all PGE 1, 2, and 3 have a function. 

A shortage on Omega 3 will cause the Omega 6 to follow a pathway to the Prostaglandins
series 2. This because the Delta 5 enzyme has a privilege to convert Omega 3. Not enough Omega 3 and the Delta 5 enzyme will make Arachidonic acid (AA) of the Omega 6.

Together with the COX2 enzyme it will make a group of substances called Prostaglandins series 2 (PGE2) that causes inflammation reactions, swelling of lymph nodes, and swelling of damaged tissue. Permanent chronic infections are a feeding ground for cancer.

AA, COX2, PGE2 are connected to many cancers working together with a protein Factor NF-kB. The PGE2 function is to repair damaged and inflammated tissue, enabling the growth of new blood vessels  (angio-genesis).
Cancerous cells forming  tumors are also strongly stimulated by these PGE2. Cancerous cells typically stimulate the formation of the protein Factor NF-kB that will stimulate the enzyme COX2 that will boost the progression of cancer.
Enough Omega 3 and the Omega 6 will follow a pathway to the Prostaglandins series 1 (PGE1) that will improve the function of the white blood cells and the maturation of the group of special NK cells, the iNKT cells (T Killer Cells). Omega 3 will follow the pathway to Prostaglandins series 3 (PGE3) who are suppressing inflammation.

But with enough Omega 3 you can prevent building up the metabolite AA Arachidonic acid that will form PGE2 with help of the COX2 enzyme. 
LINOLEIC ACID or OMEGA 6, A UNSATURATED OIL IS WIDELY INVESTIGATED AS GOOD FOR HEART AND ARTERY. BUT LIKE A PACKAGE OF SIGARETTES IT SHOULD GET A LABEL, OMEGA 6 IS CANCEROUS.  

Don’t use Sunflower-oil, Soy-oil or Corn-oil or other Linoleic-Oil or Omega 6 products.
This is difficult because it’s in almost all processed food products. In our "western" diet we consume 15 x to 25 x more Omega 6 compared to Omega 3. Even Olive-oil based products contains more Sunflower-oil than Olive-oil.
Fry and bake in Palm-oil or Olive-oil. Use Flaxseed-oil Omega 3 for salads. Fish-oil contains also Omega 3 but the quality is in doubt because of high amounts of toxic heavy metals, PCB and Dioxine contamination.
Flaxseed-oil and/or Omega 3 is not suitable for baking and frying. All Omega 3 and 6 oils will form 4-HNE  that is commonly excepted, carcinogen.

2 Heating unsaturated oils will form 4-HNE (carcinogen) that will absorbed in the fried food.

2 BROCCOLI

After millions of years, Broccoli has developed a defense system against diseases that show the same cell growth as the growth of cancer cells. Mike D  Biologist at cancer research UC Berkely investigated Broccoli for more then 10 years.
Heat up Broccoli(sprouts) in water between 60C-80C (140-180F) around 10 minutes.
Too high temperature and the Myrosinase enzyme will not work.
Too Low temperature and the Epithiospecifier proteine (ESP) in broccoli binds to the Sulforaphane to form Sulforaphanenitrile, NOT ACTIVE. This protein ESP disappears after heating the Broccoli over 60C (140F).

Don’t boil !  You can cook tea from the young Broccoli sprouts. The sprouts contains 20-50x the  amounts of Glucosinolates which converts to Sulforaphane. To much work. Function DIM   3,3'-Diindolylmethane  (Indole-3-carbinol).
Another substance in Broccoli is Indole-3-carbinol that needs to be transformed into DIM. Supplements based on I3C (Indole-3-carbinol) are useless and even dangerous in high doses.

THE CONVERSION TO DIM, THE ACTIVE SUBSTANCE, HAS TO TAKE PLACE UNDER MILD ACID CONDITIONS.


SO, SQUEEZE A LEMON OR ADD A SPOON OF VINEGAR IN THE WARM WATER DURING HEATING OF THE BROCCOLI, BRUSSEL SPROUTS, FLOWE CABBAGE AND GREEN CABBAGE.


DIM reveals the cancer cell that tries to hide as a normal cell  The most exciting aspect of DIM's activity is that it modulates Interferon-Gamma sensitivity by increasing the formation of its receptors on cell surfaces.
What this means is that DIM forces the cells that are cancerous to not hide their status as cancer cells from the immune system as effectively as they normally would, enabling the immune system to recognize them as un-normal cells and attack and kill them.
Here an interesting investigating that concludes strong synergy between TAXOL and DIM.
TAXOL is one of the most used chemotherapy drugs that also originated from nature. The bark of the Pacific Yew Tree, a species of the Taxes. Drugs resistance is well known feature of Taxol and researchers think that the synergy of DIM is based on preventing drugs resistivity.

3 CURCUMA in combination with BLACK PEPPER, GRAPEFRUIT and GREE TEA

Curcuma or Koenjit is the most important part of yellow curry. It's made of the root of the Turmeric plant, a Ginger species. It's origin is Malaysia but it is now widely spread in India. There are many species of the Turmeric plant but the Turmeric Longa contains most of the curcuma substances. It's used for wound healing but in recent years it shows a remarkable strong anti-cancer activity. The main substance Curcuma contains around 4-7 % Curcumin.

Function Curcumin

The presence of curcumin in blood is restricted by the metabolism processes. Research is ongoing to make artificial curcumin that supply 30x the amount of the biological active substances in de blood. This however will be a medicine.

Peperine is also known to block bad substances/chemicals, also chemotherapeutic drugs. So be careful with black pepper.

Curcumin is used in private clinics in Swiss as part of alternative therapy. Between 3-7 gram Curcumin per day. For this you need to take supplements. Curcuma contains only 4-7% Curcumin. Supplements are concentrated up to 95% Curcumin.


So combine CURCUMIN Supplements with BLACK PEPPER, GRAPEFRUIT(JUICE) and GREEN TEA.


                  

4 MUSHROOMS AND VITAMIN C 

Mushrooms belong to the species of Fungi. In contrary to plants, mushrooms don't get their energy from sunlight but from dead organism like wood and leaves. The enzymes in the mushrooms are able to break down the tough fibers (Polysaccharide) of all sort of plants into unique substances.
Our body is not able to digest whole fibers. However the broken fibers by the mushroom enzymes are well digested and have a special anti-cancer activity by boosting the immune system.
In combination with vitamin C, it causes direct cancer cell death by apoptosis.
Some Mushrooms are very toxic by irreversible destroying the liver. The edible mushroom are the White Button, Cantharel, Oyster, Which's Butter. Exotic species are getting more popular like the Shii-take , Mai-take, Agaricus Blazei Murill, Krestin or PSK

Following scientific investigation shows a strong cytotoxic function of mushroom extracts, Arabinoxylan and Vitamin C. The supplements alone show a low citotoxic function and are just a bit effective at almost impossible quantities. Vitamin C also has no record being cytotoxic. It's even under doubt causing free radicals reaction with Iron.

White Watercress is one the 6 species of the watercress that is cultivated and sold mainly for salads and as garnishing. Also Watercress soup is an old Dutch recipe from Limburg, a somewhat obsolescence recipe. Watercress and Gardencress have a light sharp spicy taste similar to radish.
